Museum for all program

A goal of the Scurry County Museum is to make the museum’s experience accessible to everybody, regardless of economic, physical, or social barriers. The museum has a program, which offers the Museum for All membership, at a reduced-cost membership to qualifying families. The Museum for All program represents a long stride toward the goal of reaching more children and parents, especially those living in poverty, with the valuable learning resources of museums.

How to qualify: You must be at least 18 years old and enrolled in one or more of the following assistance programs: Medicaid or CHIP, WIC, SNAP, Free or reduced school lunches, Head Start. Joining is easy. Sign up in person by presenting your photo ID and one of the qualifying documents at the museum front desk.

Curator’s Circle

Your membership at the Curators Circle level gives you access to exclusive events with the Curators. It represents a strong commitment to the museum and supports its mission to be a gathering place to learn about our rich heritage. Your membership contribution to the museum makes a big impact. Members provide critical operating support so we can invite everyone to celebrate our heritage.

President’s Circle

Elevate your benefits as you become more deeply involved with the museym, while also providing the important philanthropic support that makes our mission possible. Get closer to our programs and research through special events designed to give you and your family first access to unique experiences and new learning opportunities.
